Ashleigh Gauthier
Ashleigh is the home inspector and owner of Spotlight Home Inspection. She graduated from the Carson-Dunlop School of Home Inspection and is an Applicant Member of the Ontario Association of Home Inspectors.
Ashleigh has always loved homes and the idea that everyone should have a space to call their own that works for them, and she recognizes that that may mean different things to different people. She‘s passionate about helping others realize their priorities when it comes to personal spaces. And as someone who loves DIY, but is very aware of the skill and experience other professionals can bring to the table, she can help you put things into perspective
In her spare time Ashleigh likes to spend time with her two boys and her husband Phil, stay up to date on current affairs, and binge watch 90s/early 2000s TV.
Phil Gauthier
Phil is the septic systems inspector at Spotlight Home Inspections. He’s a registered Building Code Inspector of Part 8: Sewer and Septic of the Ontario building code. Phil also completed the OBOA Septic and Sewers course which expanded his knowledge in the field of septic and sewer systems.
He has been directly involved with skilled trades his entire life. From his continued experience in electrical work to new construction, he has developed a sense of what is sound and what needs attention. Phil’s reports will allow you to fully imagine the septic needs of your family in your home.
Phil’s free time consists of outdoor actives such as fishing with his children and spending time away at the family cottage.
